Writer's Guidelines

Hot House Press publishes adult hardcover and trade paperback commercial and literary fiction as well as history, biography, and current topics of non-fiction. We do accept unagented material and multiple submissions; however you should indicate that the proposal is a multiple submission.

When submitting, include:

1. A query letter
2. A synopsis of the entire manuscript (1-2 pages)
3. Author Bio
4. Two sample chapters (optional)
5. Self Addressed Stamped Envelope

All submissions must be typed, paginated, double-spaced, and also available in digital form. If we think that your novel might be suitable for our list, we will contact you and request that you submit the entire manuscript.

There is no need to send your query to any specific editor at Hot House Press. The editors read all the genres that are listed above.
