ALL ARE NAKED is the story of a man’s descent into obsession and deception and the consequences that appear to be inevitable. Peter Quinn has a successful career, a father running for governor of Massachusetts, a waterfront home in an affluent coastal town, and a beautiful wife.
His perfect life and marriage become troubled as he and his wife, Marilyn, try to cope with her partial paralysis from an automobile accident. Peter’s business takes him to New York, where he meets Michelle Nicole, a beautiful exotic dancer, who is caught in a destructive relationship with a charismatic criminal named Ralph Sacco. Ralph’s ambition and recklessness have them both in trouble.
Peter is drawn to Michelle, infatuated with her until he realizes, too late, the peril of the involvement. Ralph learns of Michelle’s affair with Peter and the conniving Michelle enlists him into a scheme to share Peter’s wealth. Gradually, Peter and Marilyn are drawn into the dangerous world of Michelle and Ralph. Throughout the book, the wealthy and politically powerful Boston characters contrast with the underworld of New York. Dark secrets from both sides unravel as the book moves toward its conclusion of retribution and redemption.
PRAISE FOR ALL ARE NAKED
"All Are Naked is a powerful and moving novel of tragedy and redemption.
I read it at one sitting."
—Robert Parker, Author, The Spenser Series
"Taut as a bowstring, chilling as a knife blade, and tense as a cocked pistol, All Are Naked builds relentlessly through a page turning plot toward a surprising climax. It is another knowledgeable novel noir from Wayne Barcomb who knows how to twist the genre."
